To Our Supporters and Volunteers,
On behalf of the Monti family and the SFC Jared C Monti Charitable Foundation, we want to first Thank everyone who has so generously supported Operation Flags for Vets and the SFC Jared C Monti scholarship fund. Many of you may be aware, we lost the founder of this foundation, Mr. Paul Monti on August 26, 2022. Paul’s dream was for his family and friends to carry on Operation Flags for Vets and to continue to supply deserving young individuals going off to college with scholarships in the name of his son SFC Jared C Monti.
I am reaching out today to let you all know that the Monti family is dedicated to continuing this dream.
It is Paul’s wish to continue the scholarship program for 10 years following his passing. The scholarship fund has enough to achieve this plan.
The Board of Directors will be focusing our efforts on fundraising for Operation Flags for Vets. Funds raised will be used for flags and supplies as needed. The average cost to replace the flags, totes, and bins is approximately $80,000 every 3-5 years.
All the amazing work that the SFC Jared C Monti Charitable Foundation started has been officially transitioned to the new Foundation, Operation Flags for Vets, Inc. We want to encourage all of you to continue to provide your support and want to again thank you all because without you, none of this would be possible.
